Serious Two-Car Crash Causes Heavy Delays On Route 6 Stretch

A serious two-car crash is tied up traffic during the morning commute near the border of Northern Westchester and Putnam.

The crash, reported just before 8 a.m. Monday, June 17, occurred on westbound Route 6 at the intersection of Windsor Road, just west of Mahopac Avenue in Somers. One of the vehicles involved landed well off the road.

Delays lasted through the end of the morning commute.
